Good Sir Knights of the New Mexico Division!
After my official visit to Pilgrim Commandry No. 3 and Las Cruces Commandry No.11 in September and November, I had the pleasure of visiting Baldwin Commandry No. 12 in Gallup for a wonderful Christmas observance complete with music and holiday stories. It was great to see EC Keith Wallace in attendance after his battle with cancer. Next up were Rio Hondo No. 6 in Clovis where I enjoyed a wonderful Christmas observance and had the distinct pleasure of installing the elected officers. A day later, Santa Fe Commandry No. 1. Where EC Mike Mulligan (GStB), hosted another great meal and Christmas observance. The officers of the Santa Fe Commandry were elected and installed. Thank you again for the pleasure of installing the elected officers. Finally, Shiprock Commandry No. 15 in Farmington where we enjoyed a grand Christmas observance with “White Elephant” gifts. The Commandry opened in full form and received the Grand Commander most expertly. Once again, I was fortunate to install the officers of this Commandry. Even though I was within 20 miles of the State line in all four cardinal directions within a short time, the travel companionship and reception by the various Commandries made the trips very pleasurable. I thank all the Sir Knights in the Grand jurisdiction for their support and attendance.
In accordance with the 55th Annual Voluntary Knight Templar Eye Foundation Awards program, I presented several seals and certificates to New Mexico Commandries. Congratulations to Pilgrim Commandry No. 3 and Shiprock Commandry No.15 for achieving $10 or more per member and receiving a Seal. Congratulations to Rio Hondo Commandry No. 6 and Las Cruces Commandry No.11 for achieving $5-$9.99 per member and receiving a certificate.
The Grand York Rite Sessions will be approaching soon on April 11-13, 2024, at the Shrine Center in Albuquerque. Registration forms should be coming soon.
“In this new year, may you have a deep understanding of your true value and worth, an absolute faith in your unlimited potential, peace of mind in the midst of uncertainty, the confidence to let go when you need to, acceptance to replace your resistance, gratitude to open your heart, the strength to meet your challenges, great love to replace your fear, forgiveness and compassion for those who offend you, clear sight to see your best and true path, hope to dispel obscurity, the conviction to make your dreams come true, meaningful and rewarding synchronicities, dear friends who truly know and love you, a childlike trust in the benevolence of the universe, the humility to remain teachable, the wisdom to fully embrace your life exactly as it is, the understanding that every soul has its own course to follow, the discernment to recognize your own unique inner voice of truth, and the courage to learn to be still.”
I hope all Sir Knights wherever disbursed around the world will have a happy and prosperous New Year!
